HIKING
“Hiking is probably one of the most beautiful ways there are to get to know a country”. That’s how the Austrian photographer Erika Hubatschek described this unique and astonishing activity, which becomes a special experience admits the summits of the 3000-metre peaks of the Silvretta.
CLIMBING AND BOULDERING
Sky above, earth below, peace within – this feeling awaits you at this paradise for all climbing and bouldering enthusiasts. Via ferrates and climbing areas dispose of wonderful possibilities to climb to undreamt heights.
MOUNTAIN BIKING
The path to freedom leads through valleys and over mountains – best to be done on a bike. Galtür is a secret hotspot for hobby-bikers, trail-pros, and enduro-enthusiasts. We sell bike maps at our reception for a small fee.
HUTS AND MOUNTAIN PASTURES
Finally, the doors are open again and the hosts of our wonderful huts are welcoming you! Between 1.600 and 2.500 metres above sea level, you find fragrant parlours with true Tyrolean tradition, which can be found in homemade cheese, butter, and milk. Best to be enjoyed fresh and while you are admiring the beautiful mountain scenery.

- One time a day: Free ascent & decent with open cable cars in a village of your choice. The “smugglers trail” to Samnaun – there and back again – is possible with the basic package. (Transportation of bike excluded. € 15 - per ride)
